<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Latvia</strong>In long form the&nbsp;<strong>Republic of Latvia</strong>&nbsp;(in Latvian :&nbsp;<em>Latvija</em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Latvijas Republika</em>), is a northern European country in the Baltic States. Located on the eastern shore of the Baltic Sea, it has land borders with Lithuania to the south, Estonia to the north, Russia to the east, Belarus to the southeast and a sea border with Sweden to the west.</p>

<p>In 2010, the Latvian Archives created a virtual reading room, the Raduraksti website, which provided access to parish registers (including rabbinate vital records), Livland and Curonian revision lists, surviving copies of the All-Russian Census and information on university students. . The website was completely redesigned and moved in February 2020.
